Three Big 12 Women's Golf Squads Advance to NCAA Finals

Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas A&M women's golf teams have advanced to the 2008 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship. The three squads finished in the top eight of their respective regional tournaments to earn the Championship bids, marking the seventh time the Big 12 has sent three or more teams to the finals.

Megan Gibson (Texas A&M) has been named the Big 12 Player and Pitcher of the year, becoming the first student-athlete in conference history to garner both awards in the same season.
Three from Big 12 Conference Invited to USA Baseball National Team Trials

Sophomores Kyle Gibson and Aaron Senne (Missouri) and Andrew Oliver(Oklahoma State) will participate in the USA Baseball National Team Trials scheduled for June 11-23. In all, 32 players will be invited to tryout,with 22 of those players being selected for the National Team roster.
