The New York Yankees announced the first annual New Era Pinstripe Bowl will take place on December 30, 2010 with a four-year title sponsorship agreement in place with headwear and apparel manufacturer New Era Cap Company, Inc.
The game will be nationally televised by ESPN, which has also secured national and local radio rights for ESPN Radio. The bowl committee has also launched the official New Era Pinstripe Bowl Web site, www.newerapinstripebowl.com, where fans can access up-to-the-moment information regarding the game.
Edward Stewart, Big 12 Assistant Commissioner for Football and Student Services, took part in the ceremony with representatives from the New York Yankees, the Big East Conference, New Era Cap Company and ESPN. Big 12 team will face a squad from the Big East in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl.
