Thirteen to Compete at NCAA Diving Championships

Thirteen Big 12 student-athletes have qualified for the NCAA Diving Championships March 25-27. The men's championship will take place in Columbus, Ohio while the women will travel to West Lafayette, Ind.

Divers from Texas, Missouri, Iowa State and Texas A&M qualified at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Zone D regionals in College Station, Texas. On platform, Christina Gailey (Missouri) and Diana Wilcox (Texas) placed first and third, respectively. In the women’s three-meter competition, Janie Potvin (Texas A&M), Tien Tran (Iowa State), Jordan Morcom (Missouri) and Meghan Proehl (Kansas) earned trips to the Championships. On the one-meter board, Maren Taylor (Texas) and Jaele Patrick (Texas A&M) will travel to West Lafayette as well. On the men’s one-meter board, Dante Jones and Greg DeStephen (Missouri) joined Grant Nel, Matt Cooper and Drew Livingston, who all qualified on the three-meter, in Columbus.
