Earlier this summer, numerous student-athletes and administrators from Big 12 schools, along with members of the Conference Office staff, took part in Habitat for Humanity. Coordinated by Baylor University, the participants assisted in building a home in Dallas, Texas.
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian ministry founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. The organization builds with people in need regardless of race or religion and welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds.
