Alyssa Mautz propelled Texas A&M to a pair of victories over ranked opponents last weekend, earning the senior NSCAA National Player of the Week honors for the week of Sept. 1.
The midfielder from O'Fallon, Mo. scored four of the Aggies' six goals in key wins over No. 16 Virginia Tech, 5-3, and No. 24 Washington State, 1-0. Mautz netted the game-winning goal in both contests and leads the conference with 10 points on the season.
