Baylor is the only team to remain unbeaten in conference play and is one of the last two teams (Green Bay) nationally that are still undefeated.

The Big 12 claims the best win percentage (.676) of the six BCS leagues in competition against each other. The Big 12 is the only of the six that is .500 or better against the other five.

The Big 12 is the only conference in which every team had a .700 winning percentage or higher in non-conference games.

The Big 12 is listed first in the Sagarin and Women's RPI ratings and is the only conference with every team in the top 76 of the NCAA RPI.

Baylor remains the unanimous No. 1 selection in the Jan. 23 Associated Press Poll with all 40 first-place ballots. Other Big 12 rankings are No. 14. Texas A&M and No. 21 Texas Tech. Oklahoma, Kansas State and Kansas received votes.

Baylor also remained No. 1 in the latest coaches poll followed by No. 13 Texas A&M, No. 20 Texas Tech and No. 22 Kansas State. Kansas and Texas received votes.

The Big 12 has a team ranked No. 1 by the coaches for the 22nd week in Conference history, and by the media for the 21st week.
