Alex Madkins (Oklahoma) and Boglarka Bozzay (Kansas State) have collected the final Big 12 Track & Field weekly honors for the 2012 indoor season. It is the first conference weekly distinction for Madkins, while Bozzay picks up her second weekly accolade.

Madkins took home first-place honors in the long jump at the Oklahoma Invitational. The senior had a season-best leap of 23-3.50 en route to earning his first long jump title of the indoor season. He was one of five Sooners to earn an individual title Saturday, and the only OU male to do so. Madkins' jump is 12th-best in the league and his efforts helped boost the Oklahoma men to a 21st ranking in the latest USTFCCCA poll.

Boglarka Bozzay, Kansas State, Sr., Veszprem, Hungary
Senior mid-distance runner Bozzay remained undefeated this season as she dominated the field in the 800 meters at the Nebraska Tune-Up. The Hungary-native tallied her fourth win of the year in the event, clocking in at 2:05.16 to break the school record and Devaney Center facility record. Bozzay won the race by more than four seconds, and has claimed the title in all eight races she has competed in this season by a margin of victory of more than six seconds overall. Bozzay holds the fastest time in the Big 12 this year in the 800 and 1,000 meters and is ranked second in the mile. Her 800 time, a new personal best, moves her into ninth on the NCAA list this season.
