Texas' Courtney Craig and Oklahoma's Keilani Ricketts have been tabbed Big 12 Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively for games played Feb. 27-March 4. It is the second career weekly accolade for Craig, while Ricketts collects her sixth weekly honor.

Craig batted .529, going 9-for-17 as the Longhorns went a perfect 5-0 last week. She had a season-high four RBI in a doubleheader against Texas State, going 2-for-4 with a home run. In the three game weekend series against Sam Houston State, the senior collected six hits in 10 at-bats, including a 2-for-4 effort with a home run and three RBI. Craig rounded out her week with 10 RBI, two home runs, one double and four stolen bases while compiling a .941 slugging percentage.

Big 12 Pitcher of the Week
Keilani Ricketts, Oklahoma, Jr., San Jose, Calif., OF
Ricketts led the Sooners to a 5-0 record in the circle this week. She started four of the five games, getting complete game wins in all four while recording a save in the one game she did not start. The junior had two one-hitters versus North Texas and LSU, while giving up just eight hits in 30.1 innings of work. She retired 54 batters with an average of 1.8 strikeouts per inning. The San Jose, Calif.-native registered at least 10 strikeouts in each of her starts and fanned six of seven in her save against Iowa. She gave up just three runs, totaling a 0.46 ERA. With two shutouts this week, Ricketts now has five on the season and her four 10-plus strikeout performances over the five-game stretch brings her season total in that category up to nine. For the year, Ricketts is currently 8-3 with a 1.12 ERA and 132 strikeouts.
