Scoring Story
There were 32 touchdowns from scrimmage Saturday. The 14 rushing touchdowns averaged 16.5 yards per play while the 18 passing touchdowns averaged 32.5 yards. There were kickoff returns for touchdowns of 91, 94 and 99 yards plus interception returns for touchdowns covering 43 and 49 yards.

Of the 32 touchdowns, 17 covered 20 or more yards.

There were 32 scoring drives with 18 taking less than two minutes and six taking less than a minute.

Through Week Seven, there are five unbeaten teams in the five major conferences – Baylor, Florida State, Notre Dame, Ole Miss and Mississippi State. Because of Notre Dame plays Florida State and Ole Miss plays Mississippi State, only three teams can finish undefeated.

Last season through Week Seven there were 14 undefeated teams. In 2012 through Week Seven, 12 teams were undefeated.

Baylor (6-0, 3-0; defeated TCU, 61-58; at West Virginia Saturday)
Senior quarterback Bryce Petty had career highs for yards (510) and touchdown passes (six).

Wide receiver Corey Coleman had a career-high two touchdown receptions.

Baylor and TCU's 119 combined points are the most between two top 10 teams since the AP started its poll in 1936 (previous record was 105 by Nebraska and Oklahoma State in 1988).

Baylor is 6-0 in back-to-back seasons for the first time in school history and is bowl eligible for the sixth consecutive season; that's also a school record.

The 21-point comeback tied the biggest in school history.

Baylor had six touchdown passes of 20-plus yards, the most by any Power Five Conference team in the last four seasons.

Iowa State (2-4, 1-3; defeated Toledo, 37-30; at Texas Saturday)
Quarterback Sam B. Richardson set career highs in completions (37), attempts (53), passing yardage (351) and total offense (382). His 37 completions is a single-game school record.

Receiver D'Vario Montgomery had season highs in receptions (nine) and yardage (90).

Cole Netten made all three of his field goal attempts and is seven-for-seven this season. Going back to last season, he has made 10 in a row.

11 of Iowa State's 18 touchdown drives have been 75 yards or longer.

It was was Iowa State's first Homecoming game against a non-conference opponent since 1986 when it faced Wyoming.

Iowa State's 34 first downs were the most since 2008.

Kansas (2-4, 0-3; lost to Oklahoma State, 27-20; at Texas Tech Saturday)
Junior Michael Cummings, starting the first time this season and the sixth time in his career, had career highs in yards (288) and attempts (37).

Receiver Nick Harwell had KU career highs for receptions (seven) and yards (91).

Kansas' first quarter touchdown gave the Jayhawks their first lead in Big 12 play this season.

The 14-play drive that led to Matthew Wyman's game-tying field goal was Kansas' longest drive (by plays) this season.

The Wildcats return to action with a road trip to Norman.

Oklahoma (5-1, 2-1; defeated Texas, 31-26; vs. Kansas State Saturday)
Kicker Michael Hunnicutt is the 20th player in FBS history to score at least 400 points in his career. His 406 points is 17th on the career scoring list.

Alex Ross' 91-yarder was Oklahoma's first kickoff return for a touchdown against Texas. Ross is the third Sooner with two kickoff returns for TDs in the same season.

Bob Stoops became the first Oklahoma coach to record 10 career victories against Texas, surpassing Barry Switzer (nine) and Bud Wilkinson (nine).

Cornerback Zack Sanchez intercepted his fifth pass of the season, seventh of his career, and returned it 43 yards for a TD. It was his first defensive TD of the season and second of his career.

Linebacker Jordan Evans had a career-high 14 tackles and has three consecutive games of double-digit tackles.

Going back to last season, Oklahoma has forced a turnover in 10 straight games and has 26 takeaways during that 10-game span.

Oklahoma State (5-1, 3-0; defeated Kansas, 27-20; at TCU Saturday)
Tyreek Hill had a 99-yard kickoff return and became first Oklahoma State player to return a kickoff for a touchdown in back-to-back games.Both returns gave Oklahoma State a second half lead it did not relinquish.

Oklahoma State has started 3-0 in Conference play for the fourth time under coach Mike Gundy. The previous 3-0 starts came in 2008, 2009 and 2011.

Oklahoma State extended its streak of recording at least one touchdown drive of two minutes or less to 41 games. The Cowboys have achieved that feat in 57 of their last 58 games.

Oklahoma State has scored 20 or more points in 58 consecutive games dating back to the start of the 2010 season.

TCU (4-1, 1-1; lost to Baylor, 61-58; vs. Oklahoma State Saturday)
Running back B.J. Catalon's six rushing touchdowns this season equal his career total from his first two seasons combined.

Receiver Kolby Listenbee had a career-high 146 yards receiving and has consecutive games with 100 yards receiving.

Receiver Cameron Echols-Luper had a 59-yard completion and he is 3-of-4 passing for 108 yards in his career.

Aaron Green had a team-high 67 yards rushing on just three carries and his 46-yard run was a career best.

Linebacker Marcus Mallet had a 49-yard interception return for a touchdown, 10 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and three quarterback hurries.

Linebacker Paul Dawson had a team-high and career-best 18 tackles, including two sacks.

TCU has scored a touchdown on its opening drive in all five games. TCU has had a lead of at least 14-0 in each game this season.

TCU set a school record with 485 yards in total offense as it has had at least 427 yards in its first five games for the first time in school history.

TCU's three-highest scoring games in the 110 year history with Baylor has been in the last three trips to Waco (48, 2011; 49, 2012; 58, 2014).

Texas (2-4, 1-2; lost to Oklahoma, 31-26; vs. Iowa State Saturday)
Sophomore quarterback Tyrone Swoopes had career highs in completions (27), attempts (44), passing yards (334), total offense (384) and rushing yards (50).

Wide receiver Jaxon Shipley matched his career high with nine receptions.

Oklahoma entered the game averaging 488.2 total yards per game (No. 29 in the nation), but was held to 232 yards – the eighth worst production in the Bob Stoops Era.

Texas had a season-high 482 yards of total offense - the second most in the series with Oklahoma. The Horns racked up 553 total yards in a 37-27 win in 1999.

Texas Tech (2-4, 0-3; lost to West Virginia, 40-37; vs. Kansas Saturday)
Running back DeAndre Washington had career highs for carries (29) and yards (138).

Freshman Devin Lauderdale had the first two touchdowns of his career, scoring on a 34-yard shovel pass and on a 76-yard reception.

Texas Tech's 14 points in the first quarter, the most for the Red Raiders in the opening quarter this season.

Texas Tech is 0-3 in Big 12 play for the first time and is 0-3 in conference play for the first time since 1985.

The teams each committed one turnover and that ended Texas Tech's streak of losing the turnover battle at 13 games.

West Virginia (4-2, 2-1; defeated Texas Tech, 40-37; vs. Baylor Saturday)
Josh Lambert's 55-yard field goal tied the school record set by Paul Woodside vs. Louisville in 1984. It was Lambert's second game-winner of the season. He has made nine field goals of 40-plus yards this season.

Receiver Kevin White set a school record with six consecutive games with 100 or more receiving yards.

Running backs Wendell Smallwood and Rushell Shell each and 100 yards rushing, the first West Virginia duo to do that since 2008.

West Virginia ran 94 plays, the third-most in school history. The other two came this season: 108 vs. Maryland, 96 vs. Towson.

West Virginia has been over 500 yards in five consecutive games – a school record.
