Alex Dieringer of Oklahoma State has been named the Big 12 Wrestler of the Month for competition from Nov. 1 to Dec. 1. Dieringer earns the second award of his career after starting the season 8-0.

After bumping up a weight class since last season, returning NCAA Champion Alex Dieringer has continued to turn in dominating performances. The junior started the season with a 4-2 win over No. 2 Nick Sulzer of Virginia at the NWCA All-Star Classic. The Cowboys kicked off the dual season with a double-header in Miami, Okla., where Dieringer recorded a 13-0 major decision and a 17-1 technical fall. The following weekend, he tallied four falls and a major decision en route to winning the 165-pound title at the Joe Parisi Open. Most recently, Dieringer defeated No. 14 Nick Wanzek of second-ranked Minnesota, 9-2, in a road dual. In total, Dieringer has registered 12 dual points and seven bonus-point wins, including four falls and one tech fall.
