The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has announced its Division I All-District Teams for 2014-15.  The Big 12 is well-represented on the All-District 8 squads, with 10 student-athletes earning recognition.

Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes and coaches represent the finest basketball players and coaches across America. 

The first team is made up of five players who all earned All-Big 12 First Team recognition.  Four of the five members – Buddy Hield, Georges Niang, Perry Ellis and Rico Gathers – are all underclassmen with eligibility remaining after this season.

In addition to the teams, the all-district coaches were also announced.  West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins was named the District 8 Coach of the Year.
