Texas 16, Oklahoma 13
The second-ranked Longhorns relied on its defense to beat the 20th-ranked Sooners for the fourth time in the last five meetings in the Red River Rivalry. Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford was injured his throwing shoulder when sacked on the Sooners’ second possession. Hunter Lawrence kicked three field goals including the game-winner with 12:08 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Texas Tech 31, Nebraska 10
The Red Raiders’ defense stifled the 17th-ranked Cornhuskers’ offense as Texas Tech won away from Lubbock for the first time since last October. Texas Tech jumped to a 24-3 lead in the first half with Daniel Howard’s 82-yard fumble return for a touchdown the big play. Texas Tech held Nebraska to 285 total yards. The Red Raiders finished with just 259 yards, 263 under their average.

Iowa State 24, Baylor 10
The Cyclones ended their 11-game losing Big 12 Conference losing streak. The Bears scored first on a field goal and last on a touchdown with nine seconds remaining but Iowa State scored the 24 points in between. Quarterback Austen Arnaud ran for a touchdown and threw for a touchdown to lead the Cyclones.

Kansas State 62, Texas A&M 14
Daniel Thomas ran for four first-half touchdowns and the Wildcats’ defense harassed the Aggies from beginning to end in Kansas State’s most-lopsided Big 12 win since beating Iowa State 58-7 in 2002. Thomas scored on runs of 7, 3, 9 and 17 yards. Brandon Banks returned the second-half kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown, his third kickoff return for a TD this season.

Colorado 34, Kansas 30
The 15th-ranked Jayhawks fell behind 24-3 late in the first half, rallied to take a 30-27 lead with 13:02 remaining but couldn’t hold the lead. The Buffaloes took a 34-30 lead with 8:36 remaining on Rodney Stewart’s second touchdown run. In the final three minutes, Kansas had two cracks at the end zone but couldn’t score. Kansas quarterback Todd Reesing’s final fling, from the Colorado 19, was a lob pass to Dez Briscoe. He leaped high, got his hands on the pass but couldn’t secure it.

Oklahoma State 33, Missouri 17
The Cowboys moved to 2-0 in the Big 12 by bottling up the Tigers in the second half. Oklahoma State got an interception return for a touchdown by Lucien Antoine in the first half and the Cowboys got an 8-yard touchdown pass from Zac Robinson to Hubert Anyiam with two seconds remaining in the first half to take a 24-17 lead. Missouri failed to score in the second half and OSU's Dan Bailey kicked three field goals after intermission.
