Thirteen Former Big 12 Players On WNBA Opening Day Rosters

Thirteen former players from the Big 12 Conference have made 2010 WNBA opening day rosters.

The Big 12 will have a representative playing for 10 of the 12 WNBA teams, including current Kansas State assistant coach and former standout Shalee Lehning. 

Rookies who just completed their collegiate eligibility are Big 12 Player of the Year Kelsey Griffin (Nebraska), along with Alison Lacey (Iowa State), Abi Olajuwon (Oklahoma), Amanda Thompson (Oklahoma), Andrea Riley (Oklahoma State) and Brittainey Raven (Texas). The Big 12 led all conferences with 10 WNBA draft choices in April.
