OSUís Finzelberg and KUís Rychagova Take Tennis Awards

Lukas Finzelberg (Oklahoma State) and Anastasiya Rychagova (Kansas) have been named this week's Big 12 Tennis Players of the Week. Both went a combined 7-0 on the court, with Finzelberg picking up three victories and Rychagova taking four. This marks the first weekly honor for both student-athletes.

Julian Lenz (Baylor) earned the award on the men's side, while Breaunna Addison (Texas) earned the award on the women's side. This marks both recipients' first weekly award of the season and second of their career.

Five conference men's teams and four league women's teams earned spots in the first Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings of the season, released Tuesday. The Big 12 occupies three of the top five spots, the most of any conference, in the men's rankings and two of the top 15 spots in the women's rankings.

A total 42 Big 12 student-athletes have garnered a national ranking in the 2015 ITA Preseason rankings, released Tuesday. 24 student-athletes earned singles rankings, while eight teams appeared in the doubles rankings and two made the freshman/newcomer list.
