The Big 12 Conference men's track & field programs recently earned top honors in a statistical analysis compiled by RunInCollege.com.

A total of 14 Big 12 track & field squads have earned the distinction of U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2010 Division I All-Academic Teams.

Lisa Koll (Iowa State cross country; track and field) and Ndamukong Suh (Nebraska football) have been named 2009-10 Big 12 Conference Athletes of the Year, the league office announced.

Jenny Barringer (Colorado), Lisa Koll (Iowa State) and Amy Backel (Oklahoma) earned first-team honors, while Lauren Bonds (Kansas) was named to the second team. Erin Bedell (Baylor), Shannon Leinert (Missouri) and Natalie Willer (Nebraska) garnered third-team recognition.
