Big 12 Men's Golf Pairings Announced for the Championship

First day pairings for the 2007 Big 12 Men's Golf Championship have been determined by a poll voted on by the league's head coaches.

The tournament will be played Monday-Tuesday, April 23-24, at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan. A total of 54 holes will be played over two days with 36 holes on Monday followed by 18 on Tuesday. The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday following the final round. Teams will tee off the first and 10th tees at 8 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. each day. The event is free of charge to the public.

Pairings for the first round include Oklahoma State, Texas A&M and Texas teeing off No. 1 at 8 a.m. followed by Texas Tech, Baylor and Kansas at 8:50 a.m. Colorado, Nebraska and Oklahoma will begin on the 10th tee at 8 a.m. followed by Iowa State, Missouri and Kansas State at 8:50 a.m.

Pairings for the second round of the first day will remain the same, but will switch starting tees. The second round is scheduled to begin five hours after the first-round tee times. Second day pairings will be based on first day results and placed in a horseshoe arrangement.
