The Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship returned to Oklahoma City's AT&T Bricktown Ballpark for a May 24-28, eight-team championship.
The Brick, which was opened on April 2, 1998 and seats 13,066, serves as the home facility for the Class AAA Oklahoma Redhawks. The facility has hosted eight baseball championships in the league's 10-year tenure, including the latest edition.
Previous championships have set almost annual attendance records while playing at three sites to date: All-Sports Stadium (capacity: 12,000, 1997) in Oklahoma City, AT&T Bricktown Ballpark (13,066, 1998-2001, ?03, ?05-06), and Ameriquest Field in Arlington (49,115, 2002, ?04).
Past championship winners include Oklahoma (1997), Texas Tech (1998), Nebraska (1999-2001, ?05), Texas (2002-03) and Oklahoma State (2004).
