Six Big 12 Women’s Basketball Squads Ranked in Coaches Poll

The Big 12 has six teams ranked, including three in the Top 10, and three others receiving votes in the November 18 USA Today/ESPN Top 25 Coaches Poll.

No. 4 Oklahoma is the Big 12’s highest-rated team followed by No. 7 Texas A&M, No. 9 Baylor, No. 14 Texas, No. 19 Oklahoma State and No. 24 (tie) Iowa State. Kansas State, Nebraska and Texas Tech received votes.

Six teams have been ranked on 32 occasions in conference history with the last time on Jan. 28, 2008. The Big 12 last had three Top 10 squads on March 8, 2004 -- Texas (2/2), Kansas State (8/8) and Texas Tech (10/9).

The Big 12 is off to an 18-2 start with three wins over Top 25 competition.
