The Baylor-Texas Tech game was held at a neutral site (Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas) for the first time in the 68th meeting between the teams. The attendance (71,964) set a record for the series.

In seven of its eight Conference games, Baylor failed to score a first-quarter touchdown, scored four first-half TDs and was outscored 156-36 in the first half in eight Big 12 games.

Linebacker Joe Pawelek tied a school record by starting his 45th consecutive game. Maurice Lane set the record from 2002 to 2005.

Receiver Kendall Wright finished with 65 receptions, the third-best single-season total in school history. He has caught at least one pass in game of his 24-game career.

Kicker Dary Stone made a career-best 40-yard field goal in the third quarter.

Colorado (final record: 3-9 overall, 2-6 in Big 12)
Colorado finished with 403 yards in total offense. That's the most yards Nebraska has allowed this season.

Receiver Scotty McKnight, who needs three receptions next season to pass Michael Westbrook as Colorado's top pass catcher, had a career-long 56-yard touchdown reception on the final play of the game.

Colorado had at least one sack in each game of the season for the first time since 1996.

The 58-yard pass from Tyler Hansen to wide receiver Markques Simas was the longest play from scrimmage for the Buffs this season.

Receiver Markques Simas had 31 receptions (for 463 yards) in his last four games. That's the most catches in a four-game span in school history.

Colorado outgained Nebraska in each quarter, the first time the Buffs did that all season.

Kansas (final record: 5-7, 1-7 in Big 12)
The Jayhawks scored their most points in a loss since a 50-47 overtime defeat at Colorado in 2003.

Grant Ressel's game-winning field goal as time expired was the first time since 1972 that the Tigers won a game in the final two minutes on a field goal while trailing. (Greg Hill kicked a 27-yarder with 1:27 remaining to beat Iowa State, 6-5.)
