The Conference office announced four student-athletes for swimmer and diver of the week honors. It is the first honor for Jan Konarzewski (Missouri), sixth for Drew Livingston (Texas), first for Nan Liu (Iowa State) and first for Maren Taylor (Texas).

MEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Jan Konarzewski, Missouri, So., Warszawa, Poland
Konarzewski won four titles and tallied three top-three finishes at the Mizzou Invite in Columbia, Mo., December 4-6. HIs 400 medley relay split of 47.91 seconds was a school record and nearly two seconds ahead of the next swimmer. He set a new meet record in the 100 back preliminaries and won the final later in the day. Konarzewski also swam on two relay teams, both of which recorded NCAA “B” cut qualifying times.

MEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Drew Livingston, Texas, So., The Woodlands, Texas
Livingston took first place in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events at the Texas Swimming & Diving Hall of Fame Invitational in Austin, Texas. He finished second in the platform competition.

WOMEN'S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Nan Liu, Iowa State, Sr., Dalian, China
Liu set a Beyer Pool record with a split time of 27.21 in the 200 medley relay as well as a new personal season-best in the 100 backstroke. The 100 backstroke time of 56.97 was also an NCAA “B” cut qualifying mark. She now has 21 events wins on the season.

WOMEN'S DIVER OF THE WEEK
Maren Taylor, Texas, Fr., Arlington, Va.
Taylor posted season-high scores on all three boards at the Texas Swimming & Diving Hall of Fame Invitational. She took first place in fields of 30 and 32 divers, respectively, in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions. Taylor finished the three-day event with a second-place finish in the platform event.
