Danielle McCray (Kansas) and Meagan Malcolm-Peck (Colorado) were named Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Players of the Week by a media voting panel for games from Dec. 21-27. McCray (player) earned her fourth career award while Malcolm-Peck (freshman) was recognized for the first time.

Danielle McCray scored a career-high 37 points in Kansas' victory over Houston. She made 17-of-22 shots from the field, including 3-of-5 from beyond the arc. She also pulled down 11 rebounds, including five on the offensive end, for her second double-double of the season. In addition, McCray led KU with four steals while also dishing four assists, all in 32 minutes of play. She made her first seven shots from the field and finished the first half connecting on 12 of her 13 attempts. The senior guard/forward then opened the second half making back-to-back shots before missing her second shot midway through the second period. McCray scored her 37 points without ever making a trip to the foul line. She moved into fifth place on the Kansas all-time scoring chart, passing Lynn Pride. McCray now has 1,778 career points. The 37-point performance marked her second-straight game with 30 or more points.

Meagan Malcolm-Peck, Colorado, F, 6-2, Boulder, Colo.

Meagan Malcolm-Peck pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds with four points in Colorado's win over San Jose State - her second double-digit rebounding effort of the season. She also recorded personal bests with four steals and three assists while tying a career high with three blocked shots. Malcolm-Peck's four steals came in the first eight minutes of the game as the Buffaloes built a 46-13 lead in the first half. She ranks second in rebounding and blocks among freshmen in the Big 12 and is third in steals.
