The University of Missouri will host the Big 12 Swimming & Diving Championships for the third time in Conference history. The event will be held at the Mizzou Aquatics Center in Columbia, Mo., and will take place on February 22-25, 2012. Missouri last hosted the championships in 2009.
The Big 12 Conference Championships field will consist of the five institutions that sponsor women's programs: Iowa State, Kansas, Missouri, Texas and Texas A&M, along with the three schools that have men's teams: Missouri, Texas and Texas A&M. The Longhorn men's squad has won the Big 12 championship every year since the Conference was formed in 1996, giving UT 15 titles total. On the women's side, the Texas overcame a seven-point deficit to Texas A&M to take home the 10th title in program history.
