Oklahoma State cornerback
Brodrick Brown is this week’s Lott IMPACT Player of the Week after his
outstanding effort in the Cowboys’ 30-29 win at No. 8 Texas A&M. He logged
eight tackles and an interception and broke up two passes in fueling the OSU
triumph.
In addition to a key interception in the third quarter,
Brown also deflected the pass that ended up being intercepted by teammate James
Thomas to seal the Cowboys victory on the Aggies’ final drive of the game.
The 5-foot-8 Brown was matched up with Texas A&M star
receiver Jeff Fuller for most of the day and limited the 6-foot-4 Aggie
standout to six catches for 55 yards despite giving up eight inches of height.
In recognition of Brown’s performance, the Pacific Club
IMPACT Foundation, sponsors of the Lott IMPACT Trophy, will make a $1,000
donation to the general scholarship fund at Oklahoma State.
