Monogue, Franch and Day Named Big 12 Soccer Players of the Week

Kelley Monogue (Texas A&M), Adrianna Franch (Oklahoma State) and Jordan Day (Texas A&M) were recognized as Big 12 Soccer Players of the Week for games played from Oct. 17-23. Monogue was honored as the league's top offensive player, while Franch claimed the defensive award and Day garnered recognition as the Big 12's newcomer for the week.

It is the fourth career honor for Monogue, the second time Franch has received recognition and the first award for Day.

Monogue takes home her first Offensive Player of the Week award after claiming the newcomer honor three times in the previous four weeks. Day is the fourth different Aggie to be named Newcomer of the Week with those four student-athletes claiming the award six times. Texas Tech accomplished the same feat last year when the Red Raiders had three players win the honor half a dozen times. It is the first time four different players from the same school have received recognition as the top newcomer in a single season.

Monogue had a hand in all three of Texas A&M's goals on Friday night as the Aggies took down Oklahoma, 3-0.
