Iowa State and Oklahoma have a bye during Week 11 while the other eight Conference teams continue Big 12 play.

The Big 12 placed five teams in the Week 4 BCS standings as Baylor jumped in for the first time this season: No. 2. Oklahoma State, No. 6. Oklahoma, No. 14. Kansas State, No. 16. Texas and No. 25 Baylor.

The Big 12 has made 88 appearances all-time in the top 3 of the BCS standings - the most among all leagues. The Conference is second in total BCS rankings appearances with 414.

The Big 12 also holds the top spot for number of weeks with the top-ranked team in the BCS standings at 29.

Texas leads the nation with 90 all-time BCS appearances while Oklahoma is fourth with 81. UT is tied for the lead for most seasons in the BCS standings with 14. OU is fourth with 12.

Oklahoma State has an active streak of appearing in the BCS standings 28 consecutive weeks, dating back to the 2008 season, to rank tied for second among all FBS institutions.

OSU moved up to the No. 2 spot this week, their highest position in the BCS standings. The Cowboys are the seventh different team from the Big 12 to be No. 1 or No. 2 in the BCS (at time of conference affiliation). That is the most of any of the BCS AQ conferences.

Texas became bowl eligible with its sixth win last Saturday - joining Oklahoma State, Oklahoma and Kansas State. Four other league teams currently have five wins.

Big 12 quarterbacks hold five of the top nine places nationally in season passing yards - 2. Landry Jones, Oklahoma (3,349), 4. Brandon Weeden, Oklahoma State (3,212), 5. Seth Doege, Texas Tech (3,160), 7. Robert Griffin III, Baylor (2,781) and 9. Ryan Tannehill, Texas A&M (2,701).

Collin Klein (Kansas State) is second among all FBS signal callers in rushing yards per game (100.67 ypg).
