Chelsea Poppens (Iowa State) and Sharane Campbell (Oklahoma) were chosen Phillips 66 Big 12 Women's Basketball Players of the Week, as selected by a media voting panel for games from Jan. 30-Feb. 5. Poppens was recognized for the second time this season and third occasion in her career. Campbell picked up her fourth freshman accolade.

Chelsea Poppens averaged 19 points and 13.5 rebounds as Iowa State swept a pair of contests last week. The Cyclones have now won three of their last four games and Poppens has tallied 20-plus points in three of those. The junior forward recorded a double-double with 11 points and 16 rebounds against Oklahoma State. It was her fifth 15-plus rebound game this season and ninth of her career. Poppens concluded the week with a career-high 27 points and 10 rebounds for her 10th double-double of the season in just 24 minutes of play against Texas. She hit 9-of-11 field goals and 9-of-11 free throw attempts. Poppens had 20 points and seven rebounds in 13 second half minutes as she overcame foul trouble.
Phillips 66 Big 12 Freshman of the Week

Reserve guard Sharane Campbell was Oklahoma's top scorer last week in wins over Kansas and Oklahoma State. The freshman averaged 21.5 points and 8.5 rebounds while hitting 74 percent (14-of-19) of her field goal attempts. Campbell connected on eight of 10 shots for a career-high 23 points in OU's 78-64 overtime win at Kansas. She totaled five points in overtime as OU outscored Kansas 10-4 in the extra period. Campbell also had a career-high four steals in the contest. The Spencer, Okla., native led the Sooners to a 80-71 win over Oklahoma State with a 20-point, 12-rebound performance for her first career double-double. Campbell has averaged 16.2 points since junior forward Joanna McFarland has been out of the lineup with a broken jaw.
