The Big 12 is home to all seven nominees to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) All-Region 5 team for the 2012 WBCA Division I Coaches' All-America Team.

On, Monday, March 19, the selection committee will review the 52 candidates named All-Region and trim the list to 40 finalists, all of whom will be in the running for selection to the 10-member WBCA Division I Coaches' All-America Team.

The Big 12's honorees will all compete with their respective teams in the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship.
