The Big 12 is tied among the “Power Conferences” with five teams that have one or fewer losses in Conference play (Big Ten - 5, ACC - 4, Pac-12 - 4, SEC - 3).

The Big 12 is one of two conferences with at least four teams in the Top 20 of this week’s BCS Standings (SEC - 6).

Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech have reached bowl eligibility.

Baylor is one of the eight remaining undefeated teams in the FBS, and the Big 12 is the only league with four squads with one-or-fewer losses.

Texas Tech (1), Oklahoma State (2) and Baylor (T3) are at the top of the list for teams with the toughest remaining schedule, based on future opponents’ win percentage. Oklahoma (T21) and Texas (T21) are also in the top 23. Among the eight undefeated teams, Baylor is tied with Alabama and Oregon for toughest remaining schedule.

The teams in the top half of the Big 12 standings are a combined 32-5 on the season with three of the five losses coming in Conference games.

12-of-22 conference games this season have been decided by 10-or-fewer points and three have featured a ranked team falling to an unranked opponent.

Since round robin scheduling began in 2011, the Big 12 has had 15 games in which an unranked team has beaten a ranked conference foe – the most among peer conferences (ACC: 14, Pac-12: 13, Big Ten: 12, SEC: 5).

Also since 2011, five lower-ranked teams have defeated a higher-ranked Big 12 opponent.

Big 12 Players of the Week were awarded to offense: Desmond Roland (Oklahoma State), defense: Jackson Jeffcoat (Texas) and special teams:Anthony Fera (Texas).
