Scoring Story
The next-to-last week of the regular season featured the winning teams score an average of 46 points.
There were nine rushing touchdowns that averaged 14.3 yards and 23 passing touchdowns that averaged 26.1 per play. The 32 scoring plays averaged 22.8 yards. Additionally, there was a fumble return for a 40-yard touchdown and an interception return for a 33-yard touchdown.
Baylor (10-1, 7-1; defeated Texas Tech, 48-46; vs. Kansas State Saturday)
Shock Linwood has 1,135 yards rushing, breaking the sophomore rushing record at Baylor (Jerod Douglas, 1,114 yards) and gives Baylor a 1,000-yard rusher for the fifth consecutive season.
Kicker Chris Callahan has made 14 of his last 15 field goals.
Over the last 5 games, Baylor has forced 12 turnovers, while surrendering just three.
Baylor has won 20 straight games played in Texas and is 31-3 in the Lone Star state over the last three-plus years.
Iowa State (2-9, 0-8; lost to West Virginia, 37-24; at TCU Saturday)
Three of Tad Ecby's seven receptions have resulted in touchdowns.
Freshman receiver Allen Lazard has caught a pass in all 11 games this season.
20 of Iowa State's 34 touchdown drives this season were 75 yards or longer.
Iowa State had two-touchdown leads against North Dakota State, Kansas State and West Virginia but was outscored a combined 83-3 to lose all three games.
Kansas (3-9, 1-8; lost to Kansas State, 51-13; season complete)
Senior tight end Jimmay Mundine set a single-season school record for receiving yards (584).
Senior linebacker Ben Heeney finished with 335 career tackles, eighth-most in school history. He had 35.5 tackles for loss, fourth most by a KU player.
Kansas has lost 26 consecutive Big 12 road games and 17 in a row to ranked opponents.
Kansas has won one or fewer Big 12 games in six consecutive seasons.
Kansas State (9-2, 7-1; defeated Kansas, 51-13; at Baylor Saturday)
Senior wide receiver Tyler Lockett (9 receptions, 119 yards and 2 touchdowns) set the school career record for receptions with 222, passing his father Kevin who had 217. He is tied with his father for career TD receptions with 26.
Freshman kicker Matthew McCrane made 52-yard field goal, his second from 50-plus yards this season.
K-State has won 19 of the 23 matchups with Kansas when Bill Snyder is the Wildcats' coach, including 18 of the last 19.
Kansas State averaged 53,081 fans this season, breaking last year's school record of 52,887.

The Sooners have scored an average of 42.2 points in their last four Bedlam games in Norman.

Cameron Echols-Luper has had punt returns of 53 and 69 yards (for a touchdown) in the last two games.
Sam Carter's 13 interceptions are the most by a Big 12 player over the last three seasons.
TCU has won 10 games for the fifth time in the last seven seasons.
TCU has scored at least 30 points in 13 consecutive games, the longest streak in the nation.
Texas (6-6, 5-4; lost to TCU, 48-10; bowl game to be determined)
Freshman receiver Armanti Foreman had career highs in receptions (four) and receiving yards (91). He caught a 73-yard touchdown pass and over the last two games, he has six receptions for 165 receiving yards (27.5 yards per catch).
Over the last three games, Texas foes have converted just 10 of 45 third-down attempts (22.2 percent).
Texas has not allowed an offensive touchdown in the first half in eight games this season. Only Iowa State (3), K-State (1), Texas Tech (1) and TCU (1) have scored offensive TDs in the opening two quarters.
Texas is 59-25-3 in games played on Thanksgiving.
Texas Tech (4-8, 2-7; lost to Baylor, 48-46; season complete)
Patrick Mahomes (30-of-56, 6 TDs, 1 interception) set the Big 12 single-game record for passing yardage by a freshman with 598. He broke the record of 462 set last season.
In the last three games against Texas, Oklahoma and Baylor, Mahomes is 80-of-150, 1,304 passing yards, 14 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
Senior Ryan Bustin kicked two field goals and set the school career record with 50. He also finished second in school history with 150 PATs.
Texas Tech had three players with over 100 receiving yards for the first time since 2005: Jakeem Grant (150 yards), Bradley Marquez (130) and DeAndre Washington (107).
With 712 yards of total offense, the Red Raiders have now posted at least 325 total yards in 40 straight games - longest active streak in FBS.
West Virginia (7-5, 5-4; defeated Iowa State, 37-24; bowl game to be decided)
Sophomore quarterback Skyler Howard, making his first start, threw for career highs of 285 yards and three touchdowns. His 69 yards rushing were the most by a West Virginia quarterback since Sept. 12, 2009.
Josh Lambert set an FBS single-season record with 15 field goals of 40 or more yards. His three field goals against Iowa State give him 27 for the season, one short of the West Virginia single-season record.
West Virginia had four scoring drives of less than two minutes and have 28 of those drives this season.
West Virginia finished with a winning Big 12 record for the first time in three seasons and also was 3-1 on the road in Conference games.
