Kansas City, Here We Come!

After the most competitive season in Big 12 history, the bracket is set for the 2015 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s Basketball Championship. The Kansas Jayhawks earned the regular-season title and will be the No. 1 seed. It marks the 15th outright or shared crown in 19 seasons for KU, who has accomplished the feat 11 years in a row.

Half the conference was within two games of first place as the regular season concluded. Iowa State and Oklahoma are seeded second and third after posting 12-6 league records. Baylor is the No. 4 seed, followed by No. 5 West Virginia and No. 6 Oklahoma State earning the other first-round byes. The No. 2 seed for ISU is its best since being the top seed in 2000 and 2001.

First-round games will be played on Wednesday with No. 8 Kansas State facing No. 9 TCU and No. 7 Texas taking on No. 10 Texas Tech.

Extensive video coverage of the entire Championship can be found via the Big 12 Digital Network at Big12Sports.com and on the conference’s social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
