For the second consecutive season, nearly every Big 12 conference game will be seen nationally, with all 90 league contests slated for national or regional telecast in 2015-16.

Currently, a total of 84 conference matchups will be televised on a national platform - ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS or CBS Sports. In addition, the remaining six contests are slated for national and regional institutionally-branded outlets. The schedule also features a Friday night conference game for the second time in history, when Texas travels to Oklahoma State to conclude the regular season on Friday, March 4.

The Big 12 is the only conference among itself, the ACC, Big Ten, Pac-12 and SEC to play a full double round-robin schedule in basketball to determine its champion. The Big 12 has been rated the No. 1 conference in college basketball and sent a nation’s-best seven teams to the NCAA Tournament in each of the past two seasons.

The televised conference games are being carried as part of a multi-year agreement with ESPN that runs through the 2024-25 season. More than 100 games overall (conference and non-conference) will air annually. In men’s basketball, the Big 12 was the first conference to be guaranteed three weekly telecast windows on ESPN or ESPN2, which each reach approximately 100 million homes, respectively.

Two Big 12 conference games have been selected for broadcast on CBS via a sublicense agreement with ESPN.  Baylor at Kansas will be part of the network’s schedule on the first Saturday of league play (January 2), followed by Oklahoma at Texas on February 27. The Jayhawks and Longhorns will make regular-season appearances on CBS for the 21st and 14th consecutive seasons, respectively. It marks the third time in the last four campaigns that Baylor has a regular-season contest on CBS, while Oklahoma will play a regular-season game on the network for the first time since 2005-06.

All 10 league squads will tip off the conference schedule on Saturday, January 2. The Big 12 will also continue its spot in ESPN’s traditional “Big Monday” lineup, beginning on January 4 when Oklahoma travels to Kansas.

In addition to games on ESPN and ESPN2, conference contests will also be carried on ESPNU and ESPNEWS - both of which are available in more than 74 million households nationwide.

More than 91 percent (82 of 90) conference games last season involved at least one nationally-ranked team. For the first time in Big 12 history, every league team had at least one win over a top 25 opponent. The Big 12 also boasted the best non-conference record in the country a year ago and nine of 10 squads have been ranked in the top 25 since 2014.
