Benard Keter (Texas Tech) and Jillian Forsey (West Virginia) have been named the Big 12 Cross Country Runners of the Week for the second week of competition. This marks the first weekly award for both runners.

MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Benard Keter, Texas Tech, Sr., Nakuru, Kenya

• Posted his second-straight event win at the Texas Tech Open.
• Led after the first mile and never let up, carrying through to the finish line of his 8K with a time of 26:24.
• Performance helped lead the Red Raiders to a team first-place finish.

WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Jillian Forsey, West Virginia, Jr., Stephenville, Newfoundland

• Took first-place at the Texas Tech Open.
• Ran her 6K in 21:05 to help WVU take the team championship.
• Named the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week for her strong performance at the Open.
