Robert Griffin III (Baylor), Tony Jerod-Eddie (Texas A&M), Aaron Jones (Baylor) and Quinn Sharp (Oklahoma State) have been named the season's first Big 12 Conference Football Players of the Week, as selected by a media panel. Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week
Robert Griffin III, Baylor, QB, Jr, Copperas Cove, Texas
Robert Griffin III completed 21-of-27 passes for 359 yards and a career-high five touchdowns in Baylor's nationally-televised 50-48 upset of No. 14 TCU. He led the Bears to their first win over a top-15 opponent since 1991. The junior also caught a 15-yard pass on third-and-10 to extend the eventual game-winning drive as he accounted for 50 of 60 yards on the drive that ended with the go-ahead field goal with 1:04 remaining. His touchdown passes covered 35, 28, 14, 64 and 42 yards, respectively. Griffin III added throws of 21 and 36 yards, giving him six completions of 20 yards or more. He engineered seven scoring drives of less than three minutes and took eight or fewer plays. He rushed 10 times for 38 yards and posted his fifth career 300-yard passing game, which is a school record.

Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week
Tony Jerod-Eddie, Texas A&M, DE, Sr, DeSoto, Texas
Tony Jerod-Eddie had six tackles in Texas A&M's 46-14 win over SMU, including three solo quarterback sacks for a loss of 17 yards. The senior defensive end also was credited with two quarterback pressures to lead the Aggie defense, which tallied eight sacks on the night.

Big 12 Special Teams Players of the Week
Aaron Jones, Baylor, PK, So, Crowley, Texas
Aaron Jones kicked the game-winning 37-yard field goal with 1:04 remaining in Baylor's win over No. 14 TCU. He also added five extra points. The sophomore took over kickoff duties at the start of the second half and averaged 67 yards on four kicks. He held TCU to an average starting field position of its 18-yard line and forced the Horned Frogs to start their final drive at their own 14 after his field goal put the Bears back in the lead.

Quinn Sharp, Oklahoma State, PK/P, Jr, Mansfield, Texas
Quinn Sharp handled all of Oklahoma State's kicking and punting duties in its 61-34 win over UL-Lafayette. He was 4-for-4 on field goals (46, 27, 22 and 23 yards) and 6-for-6 on extra points.
