OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Oklahoma advanced to the Big 12 Championship Game for the first time since 1997 after defeating Baylor 7-2 at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Matt Oberste led the Sooners' offense going 2-for-3 after a two-run homer in the second inning and a solo home run in the fourth. His multi-home run game was the 17th in Big 12 Championship history and the second this year.

Jonathan Gray (8-4) threw a career-high 7.2 innings in the win and only allowed two runs off of six hits while notching six strikeouts.

Big 12 Player of the Year Josh Ludy set a Baylor school record with his fourth home run in the Big 12 Championship. The senior led the Bears going 2-for-3.

Joey Hainsfurther (2-1) took the loss after pitching 3.1 innings and allowing four runs off of four hits and four walks. The righty also struck out three.

OU will face off against the winner of a matchup between Missouri and Kansas in the Big 12 Championship Game Sunday at 1 p.m.
