K-State's Allen Chapman was named the Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week. 

The senior defensive back recorded three interceptions, including one he returned 29 yards for a touchdown as the second-ranked Wildcats defeated 24th-ranked Oklahoma State, 44-30. Chapman added five tackles and two pass break-ups in the victory.
