This is Franch's second straight year as a first team member after making the first team in 2011. The senior was also named to the second team in 2010, making her the first three-time NSCAA All-American in OSU history.
Franch capped her record-setting career this fall, starting all 20 games for the Cowgirls and recording six shutouts, 79 saves and a 1.07 goals against average. She was named to the All-Big 12 First Team for the fourth time, becoming only the seventh player in Big 12 Conference history to achieve that distinction.
One of two freshmen on the three All-America squads, Beckie was tabbed to the second team after leading the Red Raiders with 14 goals and five assists during the 2012 campaign. The Big 12 Rookie of the Year selection matched the school record with five game-winning goals on the year while her 14 scores were the most by a Red Raider since the 1996 season.
Larsen, who also won the Capital One Academic All-America® of the Year award, led Baylor to a 19-1-5 record, the Big 12 Conference championship and a berth in the NCAA Championship's third round. This season, she had 11 goals, nine assists and 31 points, earning All-Big 12 second team honors.
McCarthy was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year in her senior season. She became the program's first defensive player to earn a conference major award. An All-Big 12 First Team selection, McCarthy led the WVU defense to eight shutouts this season, including four in Big 12 play. The four clean sheets were tied for best in the Conference.
