Big 12 WBB Enters Final Regular Season Games

The Big 12 regular season title will be decided in the final two games of the season on Tuesday. Baylor and West Virginia are currently tied for the top spot. If they remain tied, both will be crowned co-champions and the Big 12 tiebreaker procedure will be used to determine the No. 1 seed in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship.

The Big 12 is the only conference with 60 percent of its squads listed in the top 45 of the NCAA RPI.

90 percent of Big 12 teams are in the top 68 in NCAA strength of schedule. 

Since 2001, eight Big 12 teams have received bids to the NCAA Championship with a sub-.500 conference record, including Kansas the past two years who advanced to back-to-back Regional appearances.
