Oklahoma State Athlete of the Year Nominees

Big 12 Athlete of the Year candidates will be highlighted each day through July 19. Fans will then be able to vote for their male and female choices from July 19-21. Fan voting will be considered in the final tally for selecting this prestigious award. Today's featured candidates are Oklahoma State's Tiffany Bias and Chris Perry.

Tiffany Bias
Women's Basketball
Senior; Andover, Kan.

♦  All-America honorable mention by the Associated Press and WBCA
♦  Helped OSU to a 25-9 mark and its third Sweet 16 in school history
♦  Unanimous All-Big 12 First Team
♦  First player in program history to be named to the All-Big 12 Defensive Team
♦  17th overall pick in the WNBA Draft

Chris Perry
Senior; Stillwater, Okla.

♦  Won his second consecutive national title in 2014 and finished year with a 30-1 record
♦  The sixth Cowboy in school history to earn four conference titles
♦  OSU's 64th three-time All-American
♦  One of five finalists for the Dan Hodge Trophy recognizing the nation's top wrestler
♦  11-1 against top 20 opponents in 2014
