STILLWATER, Okla. -- Oklahoma State extended its stroke lead to 14 after the second round of 18 holes at the 2008 Big 12 Women's Golf Championship. The Cowgirls fired a 14-over 303 to stay in front of the pack at Karsten Creek Golf Course in Stillwater, Oklahoma. OSU's Jaclyn Sweeney maintained her spot atop the individual leaderboard after matching her first day score of 2-over 74.

The Cowgirls sit at 29-over 605 heading into the final 18 holes. Texas A&M recorded an 11-stroke improvement from day one to stay in second (619) ahead of Missouri (636), Texas (640), Nebraska (643), Oklahoma (650), Texas Tech (652) and Iowa State (657).

Texas A&M's Sarah Zwartynski shot the lowest round of the championship (1-over 73) to move up two spots into second, followed by OSU's Karin Kinnerud who matched her first day total of 76 for a two-day 8-over 152. Teammate Pernilla Lindberg also stayed in the top five tying for fourth with A&M's Danielle McVeigh at 9-over 153.

The final 18 holes of the 2008 Big 12 Women's Golf Championship tees off at 9 a.m. CT, April 27, with free admission for the public. The awards ceremony will take place immediately after the final
