The Big 12 Women's Golf Championship is scheduled for April 16-18 at the Ridgewood Country Club in Waco, Texas. This marks the first time Baylor will host the women's league event.

The championship format consists of a total of 54 holes with the entire course being played each of the three days.

In 2006, Texas A&M fired a final-round 304 to come from behind in windy conditions to claim the championship with a score of 899 at the Country Club of Lincoln, while the Aggies' Ashley Knoll won the individual title with 215.

OSU has earned more championships (five) than any other Big 12 team, followed by Texas and Texas A&M tied at two each, and Oklahoma with one.
