This is the second career honor for Miller and first for Lockwood and von Schamann. For the third time in history, Baylor has earned four Big 12 Player of the Week distinctions in a single season (2012, ‘11, ‘04). This marks the eighth time by a league team. The quartet of awards is one shy of the record for a single season (five, Texas Tech, 2004).

PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Duke von Schamann, Texas Tech, So., RHP, Edmond, Okla./Edmond Santa Fe
von Schamann notched his third complete game of the season and his second in a row with a two-hit complete-game gem against Kansas last Friday night. He struck out six batters in the contest while allowing one unearned run and issued just one walk. The sophomore has now pitched back-to-back complete games without allowing an earned run during Big 12 play. von Schamann becomes the first Tech pitcher to throw back-to-back complete games since 2005. The right-hander threw a first-pitch strike to 26-of-30 batters while retiring 12 straight batters between the first and fifth inning and later retiring 13 consecutive batters from the fifth inning to the ninth to end the game.
