WVU's Smith Named Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week

West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith was named the Walter Camp Football Foundation National Offensive Player of the Week, presented by Generation UCAN, for games ending September 1.

Smith accounted for five touchdowns (4 passing, 1 running) as the 11th-ranked Mountaineers defeated Marshall, 69-34. The Miami, Fla., native completed 32-of-36 passes for 323 yards and rushed for 65 more yards and one score in just three quarters of work.
