Smith Claims Second National Offensive Player of the Week Award

West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith has been named Walter Camp Football Foundation National Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.  

Smith passed for 656 yards and eight touchdowns in the ninth-ranked Mountaineers' 70-63 victory over 25th-ranked Baylor. He completed 45-of-51 passes, had no interceptions, and tied a Big 12 record with his eight scoring tosses. Six of Smith's WVU receivers had 100 or more receiving yards in the game.
