Ticketing Process for Men's Basketball Championship Announced
January 30, 2013
The Big 12 Conference has announced that a limited number of tickets for the 2013 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship, scheduled for March 13-16 at Sprint Center, will be available to the public.

Fans may participate in an online drawing process for the opportunity to purchase tickets to the Championship. Through a random online drawing, fans will have the opportunity to purchase up to four all-session tickets. The 2013 event marks the 12th time Kansas City has hosted Big 12 postseason competition - more than any other city in the conference.

"Kansas City will undoubtedly have another strong showing for the 2013 Big 12 Men's Championship. Sprint Center is delighted that the Big 12 Conference remains committed to distributing tickets in an equitable and efficient manner, allowing as many basketball fans as possible to share this special experience," said Brenda Tinnen, general manager and senior vice president of AEG Kansas City.

Interested fans may visit to complete and submit the registration form for the opportunity to purchase up to four all-session tickets. There is no fee and no purchase necessary to register. Only one entry per person is allowed. In the event of multiple entries by the same individual, only one entry received will be considered. Opportunities to purchase tickets are non-transferable.

The registration period begins on Feb. 1 at 5 p.m. CT and ends on Feb. 6 at 4:59 p.m. CT. Successful registrants will be selected at random on or after Feb. 7. All participants will be notified of their entry status by Monday, Feb. 11 via the email address submitted on the registration form.

All-session tickets include all six sessions for the four-day Championship and are available for $195, $330 and $350, plus applicable ticket fees. Best available tickets will be assigned in the order of random selection.
