• Big 12 teams are 57-40 after three weeks of competition. Thirty-nine non-conference games are on tap this week with Big 12 play kicking off next Friday, March 15.

• Oklahoma is the only Big 12 squad ranked in all four of the national polls this week. The Sooners are in the top 15 on three of the four lists with their highest ranking at No. 10 on the Collegiate Baseball poll. Texas is No. 27 in the NCBWA rankings, while Baylor, Oklahoma State and Texas are all receiving votes in the USA Today Coaches' Poll.

• Oklahoma and Texas Tech will face their first ranked competition of the season this week as the Red Raiders travel to Tucson to take on defending national champion Arizona (No. 16) in a two-game midweek set. OU treks to California with matchups against USC, No. 7 UCLA and No. 22 Notre Dame this weekend. K-State is also facing a ranked opponent with a series against No. 21 Cal Poly in Manhattan this weekend.

• For the fourth time in league history, Baylor swept the Big 12 Player and Pitcher of the Week honors as Cal Towey and Max Garner collected the awards, respectively. The two seniors helped lead Baylor to a 3-1 mark last week, including a win over No. 12 Rice on Sunday.

• In addition to Garner's strong performance last week, Texas Tech's Trey Masek extended his scoreless innings streak to 24 innings with a complete game shutout over La Salle last Saturday night. Masek leads the league in ERA (0.00), strikeouts (27) and innings pitched (24.0).

• Oklahoma's Matt Oberste has the league's longest hitting streak, having collected a hit in each of OU's 12 games this season. BU's Nathan Org, along with KU's Jordan Dreiling, leads the league in multi-hit games with seven. Texas' Erich Weiss holds the Conference's longest active reached base streak at 27, which also dates back to 2012.

• Entering the week, K-State head coach Brad Hill Head is one victory away from becoming the second coach in school history with 300 wins. Texas' Augie Garrido needs 40 wins (1,853) to tie Gordon Gillespie for the most wins (1,893) by any college baseball coach at any level.

• OSU is in the midst of a 26-game homestand. The Cowboys will not leave Stillwater until April 2 when they visit Norman for a non-conference game with OU and will not leave the state until their third Conference series (at Kansas) April 5-7.

• In addition to the six national TV selections by the Conference office, Big 12 teams will telecast over 40 games on FOX networks this season. Additionally, two league games will be featured on ESPNU and several contests are available through each institution's digital/online networks.
