Baylor, Iowa State and Texas Tech each opened the 2013 season with a pair of wins, notching a combined 22 goals against the opposition. The Bears and Red Raiders both allowed zero goals in their first two matches. The Cyclones were the only team to go 2-0 on the road.

The league went a combined 12-3-3 to open the season, with all nine teams winning at least one match.

2012 Big 12 regular season champion Baylor extended its program-best unbeaten streak to 23 after defeating both UTSA and Northwestern State 5-0.

WVU’s Nikki Izzo-Brown will be looking for her 250th career victory when the Mountaineers take the field this Friday against Central Michigan.

Oklahoma and Oklahoma State will face off in an out-of-conference edition of Bedlam on Friday, Aug. 30.
