The Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook has announced its preseason top 25 and three Big 12 schools are among the rankings. No. 6 Kansas, No. 12 Oklahoma State and No. 22 Baylor have been recognized in the poll.

The Jayhawks have won or shared the last nine Big 12 regular-season championships and will bring back three starters along with one of the nation’s best incoming recruiting classes. KU will be challenged by Oklahoma State as the Cowboys boast four returning starters from last year’s 24-9 squad. Leading the way for OSU will be guard Marcus Smart, just the second athlete in conference history to return after winning the Big 12 Player of the Year award. Baylor will boast one of the best frontcourts in college basketball, bolstered by senior Cory Jefferson and sophomore Isaiah Austin. The duo are the top two returning scorers for BU and also grabbed nearly 600 rebounds between them in 2012-13.

The Blue Ribbon College Yearbook, in publication since 1981, is known as the source for college basketball information on every Division I school. It is widely used and referenced throughout college basketball by media, coaches, scouts and fans. The book can be ordered via the Blue Ribbon website at blueribbonyearbookonline.com
