Baylor FB Player Corey Coleman Suspended for First Half Of ISU Game

In accordance with NCAA Football Rule 9.6.2 the Big 12 Conference has reviewed the second quarter hit by Baylor wide receiver Corey Coleman during Saturday's game at Kansas State.  In reviewing the play at 13:29 of the second quarter by Mr. Coleman against K-State defensive back Kip Daily, Big 12 Coordinator of Officials Walt Anderson concluded that a foul for Targeting should have been called.  

"As a result of our review and conclusion that Targeting should have been called, Mr. Coleman will be suspended for the first half of Baylor's next game against Iowa State under Rule 9.1.4 of the NCAA Rules Book," announced commissioner Bob Bowlsby.
