With Week 11 in the books, Big 12 teams have 220 rushing touchdowns from scrimmage that average 10.7 yards per play and 191 passing touchdowns that average 27.5 yards in length. The 10 teams have a total of 411 touchdowns from scrimmage that average 18.5 yards.
Through 11 weeks there have been 32 defensive/special team touchdowns - interception returns of 25, 32, 38, 41, 63, 58, 24, 66, 32, 31, 32, 54, 31, 21 and 43 yards. Three fumble returns of 9, 91, 54 and 40 yards. Kickoff returns of 94, 100, 45, 95, 95, 98 and 100 yards. Punt returns of 67, 85, 52 and 95 yards. A muffed punt recovery in the end zone (0 yards) and a blocked field goal return of 65 yards.
Baylor (8-0, 5-0; defeated Oklahoma 41-12; vs. Texas Tech Saturday)
Freshman Shock Linwood had career highs in rushing yards (182) and attempts (23).
Kicker Aaron Jones has converted 166 consecutive PATs and his career total of 251 is two away from the NCAA record.
Baylor opponents are 4-for-21 on fourth down attempts this season.

Iowa State has kickoff returns for touchdowns by Jarvis West and DeVondrick Nealy. It’s the first time the Cyclones have returned two kickoffs for TDs in the same season since 1963.
Punter Kirby Van Der Kamp has completed both of his pass attempts in his career on fake punts. Each completion has been for 50 yards.
E.J. Bibbs had career highs in receptions (seven) and yards (63).
Quarterback Sam B. Richardson had a 15-yard touchdown run, his first rushing TD of the season.
Iowa State has had 16 freshmen or sophomores have start games this season.
Kansas (2-7, 0-6; lost at Oklahoma State, 42-6; vs. West Virginia Saturday)
Freshman quarterback Montell Cozart had career highs for rushing attempts (18) and yards (55).
JaCorey Shepherd had career highs in kickoff returns (5) and kickoff return yards (169).
Kansas held Oklahoma State, which entered the game rushing for an average of 180.2 yards a game, to 85 yards on the ground.
Kansas gained a season-high 202 yards rushing.

Defensive end Ryan Mueller, a former walk on, is tied for first in FBS for sacks per game (1.2) and is tied for second in tackles for loss per game (1.7). Against Texas Tech, he had five tackles, including a career-high three sacks
Bill Snyder is the third coach in Big Eight/Big 12 history with 100 conference victories at one school. The others are Nebraska’s Tom Osborne (153) and Oklahoma’s Barry Switzer (100).
Senior safety Ty Zimmerman has 13 interceptions in his career, tied for the third-most in school history.

Trevone Boykin had five carries and scored touchdowns on three, a career single-game high. He has six rushing touchdowns this season.

Prior to allowing Iowa State’s kickoff return to start the second half, TCU had the nation’s longest streak (135 games) of not allowing a kickoff return for a TD.
Texas (7-2, 6-0; defeated West Virginia, 47-40 in overtime; vs. Oklahoma State Saturday)
Quarterback Case McCoy had career highs for attempts (49( and completions (27).
Kicker Anthony Fera converted a career-high 4-of-4 field goal attempts and is 15 of 16 on the season.
Texas is 6-0 in Big 12 play for the fifth time under Mack Brown (previously in 1999, 2005, 2006, 2009).
Texas had six sacks and has 24 in its last six games.

Texas Tech led the nation with 257 consecutive extra points until a third quarter attempt was blocked by Kansas State. It also ended a streak of 101 consecutive PATs by kicker Ryan Bustin.
The attendance was 54,609. In six home games, Texas Tech set a school record with an average home attendance of 57,932 and a record for average student attendance of 11,249.
