Team-By-Team Notes From Week 13 In Big 12 Football

In three games Saturday, there were nine rushing touchdowns that averaged 12.3 yards in length and 11 passing touchdowns that averaged 37.2 yards in length.

Through 13 weeks, Big 12 teams have scored 250 rushing touchdowns that have averaged 10.8 yards and 219 passing touchdowns that have averaged 27.9 yards.

Through 13 weeks there have been 37 defensive/special team touchdowns - interception returns of 25, 32, 38, 41, 63, 58, 24, 66, 32, 31, 32, 54, 31, 21, 43 and 43 yards. Three fumble returns of 9, 91, 54 and 40 yards. Kickoff returns of 94, 100, 45, 95, 95, 98 and 100 yards. Punt returns of 67, 85, 52, 95, 91 and 58 yards. A muffed punt recovery in the end zone (0 yards) and a blocked field goal return of 65 yards.

There have been 17 interception returns for touchdowns by Big 12 defenses this season. Ten of those have come in Conference games, one more than last year's total.

Baylor (9-1, 6-1; lost at Oklahoma State, 49-17; at TCU Saturday)
Quarterback Bryce Petty has thrown for 200-plus yards and at least two passing touchdowns in all 10 career starts.

Defensive end Chris McAllister tied the school career record for sacks with his 15th.

Baylor had 453 yards in total offense and has been over 400 yards in 37 consecutive games. That's the longest current streak in the nation.

Baylor has made a school-record 76 PATs.

Iowa State (2-9, 1-7; defeated Kansas, 34-0; at West Virginia Saturday)
Grant Rohach had a career high in passing yards (300), the longest completion of his career (58 yards) and the first touchdown pass of his career.

Iowa State posted its first shutout in Big 12 play since a 41-0 victory over Baylor on Sept. 29, 2001.

Iowa State is 29-for-31 inside the red zone (21 touchdowns, eight field goals).

The kickoff temperature of eight degrees is the lowest game-time temperature in Iowa State football history.

Kansas (3-8, 1-7; lost at Iowa State, 34-0; vs. Kansas State Saturday)
Senior James Sims had 114 yards rushing and has 1,028 yards rushing this season. He's the first Kansas player with back-to-back 1,000 yard rushing seasons.

Sophomore linebacker Jake Love had a career-high 13 tackles.

Kansas has held its opponents scoreless on the first drive in 10 of 11 games this season.

Kansas hasn't won a Big 12 road game since 2008, a streak of 26 consecutive games.

Kansas State (6-5, 4-4; lost to Oklahoma, 41-31; at Kansas Saturday)
Tyler Lockett set a school record for receiving yards (278) and for all-purpose yards (440). Lockett also has a school record 1,760 yards in kickoff returns.

Tyler Lockett's 90-yard touchdown reception was the Wildcats' first 90-yard pass play since Lockett's uncle, Aaron, went 97 yards against Louisiana-Monroe in 1998.

Ian Patterson's 28-yard field goal was his first career field goal attempt.

Kansas State set total attendance (423,095) and average attendance (52,877) records at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

Bob Stoops has 158 victories for sole possession of the all-time OU coaching wins record.

Brennan Clay had career highs in rushing attempts (31) and yards (200).

Zack Sanchez returned the first interception of his career for a 74-yard touchdown.

Kicker Michael Hunnicutt is 21-of-24 on field goals. His 21 field goals made equals the school single-season record.

Oklahoma led 24-21 at halftime and has won 40 straight games when leading at the half, the second-longest active streak in the nation.

Oklahoma limited Kansas State to 24 rushing yards, the fewest allowed by the Sooners since Baylor gained just six rushing yards on Oct. 10, 2009.

Clint Chelf threw for a career-high 370 yards, his second career 300 yard game. His other career game throwing for 300 yards came against Baylor last season.

Oklahoma State's 32-point margin of victory over Baylor was the third-largest over a team ranked fourth or higher in the BCS standings.

Oklahoma State set a Boone Pickens Stadium record with a crowd of 60,218. It's the third time this season the single-game attendance record has been set.

Oklahoma State forced Baylor into four three-and-outs. Entering the game, the Bears had just seven three-and-outs, the fewest in FBS.

The Horned Frogs have failed to qualify for a bowl game for the first time since 2004.

The Longhorns are coming off a 38-13 loss to Oklahoma State, the worst home loss Mack Brown's tenure.

The Red Raiders need a victory to avoid finishing the season with a five-game losing streak.

The Mountaineers have failed to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2001.
